Five Secrets of a Happy Marriage

Secret One – Be lovable. Be the person your spouse would want to love. The golden rule is a great place to start; Treat others the way you want to be treated or better yet treat others the way they would want to be treated.

Secret Two – Always be nice. Check your attitude, anger, sarcasm, etc., at the door. Look for ways to please your partner.

Secret Three – Always have things on the calendar that you are both really looking forward to. A movie, a date night, a trip, a concert, a family get together, etc. Never underestimate hope.

Secret Four – Use words wisely. Good words are I love you; I am sorry; I am wrong; forgive me; It is my fault; let’s pray; You look great, thank you, you really did that well, etc.

Work on these four and improve your marriage. We celebrated 49 years of marriage April 10, 2020. We were in quarantine because of the corona virus pandemic but we celebrated our anniversary in style.
